10″ Custom Pizzeria is located within the hip and bustling food precinct that is The Hamlet on Lonsdale Street, Braddon.
Its pizzas are probably the best I have ever eaten. They make all their dough in-store and it is rolled out on the bench in front of you. They have a pizza menu, or you can make your own.
The classic menu has several options for under $15, the cheapest being the pepporoni pizza at $12 which my partner opted for when we visited last week. The pizza I opted for was the BBQ chicken which is just above a ‘cheap eat’ at $16 (plus extras) however I found this pizza really filling so it could easily serves two people. I also added mushrooms and spanish onion to my order.
If you order in-store you watch your pizza being made right before your eyes. For a business that is pumping out a bazillion pizzas every day, they still put a lot of attention to detail in each pizza and are very generous with their toppings.
Once the toppings are complete, into the woodfire oven the pizzas go and they’re ready for you to shove your face into 10 minutes later (update from 10″CP: bake time is 3 minutes). There is seating indoors and also outside at The Hamlet but we opted for the 8 minute walk home with our pizza and they were still piping hot when we arrived.
Best. Pizza. Ever.
