Thumper, Mael, Jet Pilot is a brand that makes gear for jet skiers, water skiers and wakeboarders etc. They make wetsuits, gloves, vests etc.

It’s the big ‘IN’ brand with the jet ski crowd. It’s like ‘Billabong’ or ‘Rip Curl’ is to surfies. So it’s not really any different to a Rip Curl sticker on a car.

No I don’t have a Jet Pilot sticker on my car, although I do love to partake in the much hated sport of Jet Skiing, complete with some Jet Pilot gear. They make great gloves if your interested!

Lol, the Jet Pilot issue is a funny one. I don’t know why, but whenever I see JET PILOT on a car, all I seem to be able to read is WANKER.

My car has only got one sticker on it, it reads “I want to car pool – Yeah right”.

Although I will be replacing it shortly with another one cause it’s deteriorating. I’m stuck between “Original miles – Yeah right”, or “I was doing 80 officer, honest – Yeah right”.

When I lived in Nowra there was a girl driving a BMW convertible around with P Plates on. The licence plate was “TA DAD”.

I think they’re harmless. Cal it vanity, call it wankerism or whatever, no damage done.

Was in Kiwiland in January and pulled up behind a car on the Opua to Russell ferry. His plate was MILWAL – the subtext “No one likes us”.

He was right. I laughed, but quietly. If he’d known I was a Spurs fan he’d of smacked the crap out of me :-S

I still don’t really get it. But then I never have been very good at spelling with numbers.

I’ve seen plates such as ‘Ilegal’ and ‘Dealer’ in another state. Am curious as to why this should/would attract attention from highway patrol though – there’s no law that says you cannot have a personalised plate of your choosing…although ONDADOLE maybe asking for some attention from Centalinka!
