The You Are Here festival kicked off last night with a theatrical double bill at Smith’s Alternative Bookshop which was packed to capacity.
Adam Hadley, David Finnigan, and the pillar in the middle of the bookstore all starred.
Without wanting to detract from Hadley in any way Finnigan’s “How to Sex” was a revelation.
I don’t want to detract from the way the show unfurls as it goes along, but for a moment there I was actually terrified.
It was electric.
Crossing Northbourne this morning there were ongoing signs of the festival, to say nothing of the sight of David Finnigan reversing a large truck along City Walk.
If you want to get on the bandwagon The Last Prom tonight at the old Dick Smith in the bus interchange promises to be sensational.
