It’s been nearly a month since the new shopping trolley laws came into effect.
And so I wandered down to the taxi rank at the corner of Bunda and Mort streets where trolleys are frequently dumped to see how it’s going.
The answer is there are actually more abandoned trolleys than before the laws came into effect.
The coin capture systems are also in the process of creating a public art piece of disjointed chained trolleys that will be a bit of fun to sort out if it continues to grow.
But hey, more laws are always good right? Right?
