Pair face court charged with multiple aggravated burglaries and thefts last week

A 40-year-old Hackett man and a 31-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with numerous recent aggravated burglaries, burglaries and thefts across Canberra.

The pair will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today.

Police will allege the man was involved in burglaries at a hair salon in Dickson on 20 October, a restaurant in Braddon on 21 October, and a café in Bruce on 24 October, as well as the theft of motor vehicles on 22 and 24 October.

Police will allege the woman was involved in the motor vehicle theft on 24 October and a burglary at a bridal store in Fyshwick late on the night of 25 October.

The pair was arrested in Flynn yesterday afternoon (28 October). Several items of property suspected of being stolen were located by police during the arrest.

ACT Policing investigations into other recent aggravated burglaries across the ACT are continuing.

I wonder if these two have been responsible for attempted break ins and theft on the far south too.
