Renee Heaton is an avid live music supporter and regular gig-goer in Canberra . Also a sufferer of rheumatoid arthritis, Renee is confined to a wheelchair. You’ve probably seen her at the Greenroom, UC or ANU, moving her way to the front in an attempt to see!
At the moment, her electric wheelchair is in a bit of a state and she is in need of a new one, but they don’t come cheap! At $10,000-$15,0000 a pop they’re a bit out of her price range. Garry from the Greenroom as well as 6 Canberra bands, including Barrel of Monkeys, have rallied together to organsie a fundraiser event for Renee’s new wheels.
100% of door takings from this gig will be donated to Renee, so come along and help Renee out and have a good time doing it.
