I’ve noticed a lot of new signage going up around the place, highlighting shops and the like. Also preparations for new signs on the parkway have been moved a couple of hundred metres away from existing signs guessing so it will actually give people some notice to exit unlike the current signs. Hopefully they will proof read the signs for spelling before putting them up!

Lol. As a relative newbie to Canberra one of the first things I learned was to ignore the signposts.

The signs only make sense if you already know where you are going. Driving into Canberra from the Cooma side, you are greeted with a Town Centre (left turn) sign. How is anybody but a local expected to know that the ‘Town Centre’ referred to is in fact Tuggeranong?

No wonder most of Australia hates Canberra.
