The Brumbies have announced the outcome of last night’s presentation gala:
University of Canberra Brumbies hooker Stephen Moore has been named Brett Robinson Player’s Player for the 2012 Super Rugby season after the club held its Presentation Night on Saturday.
Moore enjoyed one of his most comprehensive seasons, knocking over his 50th Brumbies cap against the Reds at Canberra Stadium then his 100th Super Rugby cap seven weeks later against the Blues.

Despite being injured just 10 games into the season, Christian Lealiifano was named Best Back after accumulating 109 points and boasting a 90 per cent strike rate at goal. Lealiifano ran third in the Player’s Player poll.

The University of Canberra Brumbies Best Forward award was taken out by the departing Michael Hooper. Having developed into a world class open-side flanker over the last three years, Hooper is now the understudy of Wallaby Captain David Pocock and looks set to spend plenty of time in a yellow No 7 jersey.

The Shawn Mackay Outstanding Young Talent award went to Joe Tomane, backing up from his Australian Super Rugby Rookie of the Year award presented three weeks ago.

Other worthy winners were Scott Fardy, who took home the Community Service Award and team Chaplin David McDonald who was given the Garry Quinlivan award for outstanding service to the club.
