ACT records seven new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded seven new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday.

As of 8 pm last night, there were six COVID patients in hospital. Five in the ICU and four on a ventilator.

A total of 1,679 negative tests were conducted in the 24 hours to 9 am today. There are 163 active cases in the ACT.

Of the Territory’s 12-plus population, 97.6 per cent are now fully vaccinated (as of 26 November).

In NSW there are 235 new cases.

In Victoria, there are 1,252 new cases and five deaths.

It’d be handy to know the vaccination status of those in hospital and the ICU.

Looks like you need around 95+ percent vax to bring Covid under control. Countries with 80 percent (Singapore) are struggling. Yet, even with our success here in the ACT we get “It’d be handy to know the vaccination status…”. Jez.
