A tree has fallen on an ACT Rural Fire Service truck, damaging the vehicle while it was operating at the North Black Range fire near Braidwood in NSW.
No one was injured as the three crew members were working away from the truck, but they are receiving support, an Emergency Services Agency (ESA) spokesperson said.
While the truck is being assessed and repaired, there will be no impact on the efforts of firefighters tackling the blaze in the area, the spokesperson told Region Media.
The ESA is using the incident to warn the public of the dangers of falling trees in the aftermath of bushfires, urging residents to take care in and around fire-affected areas.
