Are there any recommendations for companies that can dig up and re lay drains attached to down-pipes?

I really need all my downpipe drainage tested, and probably have a few drainpipes that need to be dug up and re-laid. It’s likely to be quite a big job and will definitely end up with a few trenches in the front & back garden so it’d be really good to know which company in Canberra to trust and who to avoid. Any suggestions through experience please?

I had a similar problem and tried for many months to get a plummer to do the job. 5 companies came and looked at the job, none would even quote on it.

The solution was to install rainwater tanks.

My understanding was that if anybody would take on the job it was going to cost about $22,000. The tanks I had installed fixed all my down pipes and cost me a whisker under $14,000.

Dave Hocking from One Eco did my tanks and I was very happy with him and the finished job.

Duncan’s Plumbing have done plenty of work at my joint over the years – always on time and around the quoted price. The least drama I’ve ever had from any tradies…
