Hi fellow Rioters! I count myself lucky to have scored myself a gig with the Art Department on a feature film currently shooting in Canberra. Galore was written and is being directed by Rhys Graham, who grew up in Canberra.
My reason for approaching Rioters for assistance is simple; the script calls for two very specific cars we are having some trouble sourcing locally; a mid-to-late 80’s Commodore Station Wagon, and a late 70’s/early 80’s Chrysler Valiant. There would be limited driving involved in their small roles. We seek cars with some “character” rather than spick/done-up/modified vehicles. I am wondering if any fellow Rioters might have a vehicle which fits these requirements, or might know someone who does. The cars would be required for around 5 days each over the next 6 weeks, with a generous hire fee provided.
