About Alistair Coe MLA

Alistair is the Leader of the of the ACT Opposition and is the Shadow Treasurer, and Shadow Economic Development; and Transport.

Alistair is married to Yasmin and they have two children.

Alistair believes in efficient and accountable government. This means that governments must use the best evidence available to make decisions. Alistair also believes that governments have a responsibility to ensure that their decisions and processes are easily reviewed and understood. Alistair has a keen interest in the delivery of infrastructure and ensuring that our investments today will be of maximum benefit to current and future generations.

Alistair was born at the Royal Canberra Hospital and went to primary and secondary school in Tuggeranong and Belconnen. He then completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the Australian National University.
