Lol. No. It would be something like reporting three days a week (eg Mon, Wed, Fri) between 8a – 8p for example.

I wonder if Milecevic is related to the family who were murdered in Richardson in 1984? Though I imagine that’s a pretty common name in certain parts of the world.

We’re in safe hands, alright. You can tell by the general morale of the police and prosecution.

I imagine that a well trained and professional magistrate or judge would not be putting their reputation on the line. They would have heard all the evidence and made a judgement about the likelihood of flight or re-offense. What these professionals don’t need is a whole lot of rednecks that have watched too many Westerns about lynch mobs and punitive sentences. Hang them. Flog them. Put them in prison for fifty years.

Thank God we don’t elect our law enforcement officers and judiciary!

a) in relation to #3 above – bail is a surety. It’s very rarely paid upfront in this jurisdiction although on occasion it is ordered.
b) there is a presumption for bail except in extreme cases (murder etc) where the presumption is against. He has only been charged with assault ABH. Don’t like the law, lobby to get it changed. The Courts are only applying the letter of the law. you’d think as a copper you’d understand that.

Ooooh, $2000 should cover things nicely but I don’t think it will be paid WHEN he breaches the conditions of his bail.

WHEN WILL THE COURTS GET IT? THIS IS NOT WHAT THE COMMUNITY WANTS… please correct me if I am wrong but my small part in this fair City and my friends believe he shouldn’t get bail… I have no reason to think you all might think otherwise…oh, except DMD, WMC, Farc, Ant and some others I can’t remember.
