Best Gutter Installers

After putting it off for way too long I have decided to finally replace my rusting gutters.

I had a couple of quotes last year – one company seemed very knowledgable but tried to sell me lots of extras like painting and sanding the wood underneath the gutters. The other company sent out a salesman who seemed to have very little idea of the installation procedure himself.

I know there has been discussions about the best roof restorers here before, but what about gutter installers? Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with local Canberra companies that I can learn from? Looking for a good deal but would prefer to pay a bit more to get the job done properly!

Was done by our builders during construction, but I think Enviro-friendly would probably do a better job. They do installs on all their products as far as I’m aware. We got our tank, water switch, greywater system and solar HWS from them as well.

Thanks all – the companies I spoke to were React and Focus so will try out some of the others! Gungahlin Al – who installed your guttering? Or did you do it yourself?

We installed SmartFlo gutters when building – worth the extra cost.

They are enclosed gutters, so there’s no need to install gutter guard.
They are self cleaning, so no need to climb up 6 m to clean gutters, nothing to catch fire during an ember attack (grasslands well within danger range), and they make sure clean water goes into our tank.

Also no blocked gutters means nowhere for mossies to breed – as gutters are one of the primary places this happens.

Isn’t anyone proud to be a Re-ACT man?

I’ve recently had dealing with Sonny from Premium Choice. He was recommended to me by Stratco during my enquiries about Colorbond roofing. While I haven’t had the work done by him yet, I’ve found him awesome to deal with, and he always has plenty of time to discuss questions and/or concerns.

As soon as he has a spare place in his book, we’ll be getting him to do our roof and gutters.

We are all of us in the gutter, and if only there was a horoscope page here, some of us could be looking at the stars.

I’ve had good experiences with a crew in Phillip – Quality A Must. They’re old-school kind of guys, good, fast workers, seem to know a lot about gutters and your roof. I liked the fact that they were in and out within a day. (02) 6295 6454
