Retina Australia have sent in their media release on the efforts of blind Canberran Lindy Hou to cycle* from the Gold Coast to Sydney to raise “awareness of and funds for Retina Australia, the national advocacy organization for people afflicted by genetic eye conditions”.

Best of luck to them! If you want to contribute there’s more information on the Ride4Retina site.

Is the guide dog up front?

A guide dog and blind rider would probably be safer on the road than the regular Canberran cyclist.
