ACT Policing is seeking to locate the owner of a small boat that was located on Yerrabi Pond Monday afternoon (November17).

About 5.30pm a member of the public attended Gungahlin Police Station after seeing a small boat floating on the pond, unattended. Members from Gungahlin Police Station responded and located the vessel in the pond, on the Mirrabei Drive side.

The vessel is described as a small blue and white coloured, De Havilland brand sailing boat. No mast was attached.

If you are the owner of the vessel or have information on who owns it, please contact ACT Policing on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information to Crime Stoppers can be provided anonymously.

Any chance the owner could perhaps be drowned? :-\

Perhaps after they’ve solved that, they can find out who owns the boat which has been parked opposite Gold’s Gym Fyshwick for the past ten months. It has 4Sale written on it but no phone number or any other way to contact the owner to buy it. I’m getting sick of seeing it thru the window of the gym all the time.
