The Herald Sun has a piece on plans by sacked Raider (and convicted assaulter) to fight his sacking:
- The Goodwin camp remain dismayed how a player with a clean record for five seasons was axed for a first offence.
The Sunday Telegraph understands Goodwin’s defence will include a list of other Raiders repeat offenders afforded numerous second chances by club management.
“I’m absolutely disappointed and devastated. There’s no way in the world I thought it would come to this,” Goodwin said.
