‘Canberra Canine Companions’ is a relaxed, casual and friendly meetup group for those with a canine companion, or even those without but who loves dogs, who’d like to get out and about with our pooches and socialise and have fun.
Together weekly let’s explore some of the amazing dog friendly places Canberra has to offer. From walks around our suburbs, lakes and nature parks (where permitted ‘on leash’), play time at designated ‘off leash’ areas, picnics, visits to dog friendly cafes & pubs and more.
Ideas from members for meetups with our canine companions are always welcome.
The aim of the group is to create a happy, active community for those who love dogs, and would like to share laughs and perhaps a few barks with our canine friends.
All dogs are welcome, but please ‘No aggressive dogs’. The group is a place where you can just be yourself and where your dog can also be him/her self without being threatened by another dog.
