Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Floyd and Krumm are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week: Floyd

Meet Floyd!

Floyd is a big-hearted boy who just wants to be loved. While he may look ancient and wise, Floyd is a young pup who loves to be close to “his people.” He’s a faithful companion at heart and would thrive in a home where he wasn’t alone too often.

Because he is still a puppy at heart, Floyd can struggle with over-excitement, but with the proper guidance and training, this goofy pup has the potential to mature into a well-mannered adult.

He’s already showing signs of being a quick learner, taking to leash training like a pro. With patience and consistency, we can see Floyd blossoming into an even more incredible companion.

Floyd is eager to please and thrives on attention and affection from his humans. He’s a loyal and loving dog who would do anything for those he cares about. If you’re looking for a furry friend to be by your side through thick and thin, Floyd is the dog for you.

So, if you’re ready to give this beautiful boy the love and training he deserves, come and meet Floyd. You’ll quickly see why he’s stolen the hearts of all our staff here at the shelter.

Krumms had a tough start but is ready to win you over.

Cat of the week: Krumm

Meet Krumm! He’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart.

Krumm may have had a rough start, but he has bounced back in style and is now ready for his forever home. He’s a bit of a foodie and will happily show his affection for anyone who brings him his favourite treats (very relatable!)

Krumm is quite the character and loves to headbutt his favourite humans for some love and attention. He may even sneak in a nibble here and there to let you know when he’s feeling peckish. He’s not a fan of loud noises, so a quieter home with one or two adults would be perfect for him.

Despite being FIV+, Krumm still manages to make friends with other cats in the shelter. However, if he’s going to live with another feline friend, they will need to be FIV+ too. Krumm is a cuddle bug at heart and makes the perfect companion for anyone who wants a furry friend to snuggle up with on the couch. Just don’t be surprised if he insists on keeping all four feet on the ground while doing so!

If you’re looking for a cat with character, charm, and a heart of gold, then Krumm is your guy. Come and meet him, and you’ll fall in love with this little Krummpet in no time!

Paw note: Last week’s pets Pepper and Lucia are still looking for their forever homes!
