Canberra Op Shop Guide – Christmas Edition

By Heather Lansdowne - 15 December 2015 0

Overflowing with Christmas party invites and not sure what to wear? It would be great if we could all pull on our reindeer sweaters a la Colin Firth in Bridget Jones’ Diary, but unfortunately that’s not such a good idea in our climate. Instead, why not check out your local op shops for some fun new pieces to experiement with over the holiday season? Pro tip – check out the new Green Shed located in the Civic interchange – it’s even cheaper than regular op shops and it’s open seven days!

Check out what we found below for a number of different occasions!

Dress – $4 The Green Shed Civic

Having fun in the sun can be hard if you want to avoid becoming a big ol’ pile of sweat, but it can be done! A light breezy dress should do the trick while keeping it classy, and this draped nude number ticks both those boxes. Add a flower crown for extra Summer goddess points and you’re good to go!

Night Party

When the stars come out it’s time to reach for sky high hemlines and try something new! Why not get your pins out in a cute black one piece, which is sophisticated yet playful and looks super cute with heels or wedges.
