Canberra teen killed in crash near Yass

An 18-year-old Canberra man is believed to be the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash near Yass.

Emergency services were called to Yass Valley Way at about 9:10 am on Sunday (29 January) after a member of the public had discovered a vehicle in a gulley beside the road.

Officers located the body of a man who is yet to be formally identified, however, he’s believed to be an 18-year-old man from the ACT.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash with a report to be prepared for the coroner.
