ZDnet has had a look at ABS data showing Canberrans are made of win when it comes to being online.

We just pip cashed up Western Australians and leave the luddite New South Welsh in the dust.

owning broadband is not nerdy, posting on a webforum is.

Doing my bit! I don’t own a TV and my radio’s not great… but iinet gives me free ABC and a plethora of radio stations!

Plus there’s all the uploading sexy photos to Facebook and flirting over Skype.

Would I be less likely to be online in NSW? Well I find when I go there that I tend to just talk to my friends instead of facebooking them while I’m sitting right next to them…
