Cheap gym in Tuggeranong?

I’m putting this in the “Ask RiotACT” section in the hopes I can find a good solution from someone with a bit of knowledge of Tuggeranong.

I’ve been out of work for a while, and have recently picked up some work for a few months near the Hyperdome. Because some of the shifts might finish just after buses stop running, I’m thinking a solution to my problem would be to ride the mountain bike in from my place in Phillip.

In the interests of not working while all sweaty I asked if there are any shower facilities on site and unfortunately there aren’t.

This leads me to think that getting the cheapest possible gym membership would be an option – just as somewhere I can duck in to use the showers before work. I’m wondering if anyone has knowledge of the gyms or similar facilities in Tuggeranong who might be able to provide a bit of info on pricing?

anytime fitness is one option .
Secondly one can kick off with calisthenics to get in shape and then pursue heavy weight lifting !

Leisure Centre has offers from time to time and you can ask them about Corporate Memberships – they are around $14 per week.

I am sure i saw a poster for $15 a week for club lime recently.

Gold’s Gym will be opening in Tuggers in a month or so. Keep your eyes peeled as they are sure to have an opening special.

Anytime Fitness is around $15-16 a week. Plus after 3 months i think you can use any Anytime fitness.
Most gyms like to give you a sales talk first though.

Not at all familiar with prices but there is an Anytime Fitness down there.
