Comedy Club at Civic Pub will be celebrating 12 months of successful monthly comedy shows on Wednesday 2 June.

Headlining the June show will be respected Sydney-based comedian Brett Nichols. Nichols has knocked them dead on the Comedy Channel’s “Stand Up Australia” and is soon to appear on the Nine Network’s “Footy Show”. Since winning Australia’s premier comedy competition, Green Faces, in 2003, Brett has become a regular headline act on both the Sydney and National comedy circuits. He is a well-seasoned, highly versatile comic, and his ad-libbing excellence sees him transform every show into an event to remember. His mix of the ‘clever’ and the ‘rude’ will appeal to the yuppie and yobbo in everyone.

Joining Nichols on stage on June 2 will be Paul McMahon from Byron Bay, locals Jay Sullivan and Greg Kimball, and a couple more interstate special guests.

Show starts at 8pm. Entry fee is $10 at the door. Upstairs at Civic Pub, 8 Lonsdale Street, Braddon.
