ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a robbery which occurred last night (Friday, May 13) at the Colbee Court Pharmacy in Phillip.
Around 8.00pm the offender entered the pharmacy and demanded drugs from the staff while making threats. The offender was provided with a quantity of drugs before fleeing.
The offender was last seen running towards Athllon Drive, Phillip. Police conducted an extensive search of the area, but was unable to locate him.
The offender is described as Caucasian between 5’5” (165cm) and 5’7” (170cm) in height, slim to medium build, unshaven and believed to be aged in his mid to late 30’s.
At the time of the robbery the man was wearing a dark coloured hat with ear flaps, dark coloured jacket and pants, sunglasses, fingerless gloves and a green and black striped jumper tied around his face.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a person answering this description or seen any suspicious activity in the area of the offence to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
