Sunday: Grab a friend and your bike for the Urban Polaris – a unique seven hour mountain biking and navigation event set in and around Canberra. It also has a new little brother, the Metro – 4 hours.

Checkpoints are in interesting places often include fun events for the competitors to be involved in.

http://www.urbanpolaris09.org.au/

It’s a fundraiser for the Mental Health Foundation. Also, having done it several times before, I can personally assure you of it’s awesomeness.
