Doogan findings

By kimba - 4 August 2005 5

I understand that the Supreme Court will bring down its findings on Coroner Maria Doogan tomorrow.

Let’s hope it’s a win for democracy! I found it repugnant that Stanhope as the AG used his position to try and muzzle an inquiry into his own actions as Head of Government. I hope he ‘burns’ for this one!

What’s Your opinion?

Thumper settle boy.

You know as well as I do that incompetence hastens promotion.

80% of the time…

Interestingly my connections tell me that a certain person named in the inquest, and who was very quickly removed from the old ESB, just got a nice promotion over at Defence.

It seems it doesn’t matter what you do, its what you say.

It’s just another case of “I’m allowed to do it and you are not.”

Stanhope seems to think he can make as many stupid court appeals and delays as he wants, but not Save The Ridge.

Stanhope defended his grafitti artist staff member and then slammed Bill Stefaniak for having a press conference where he sprayed a sign and then cleaned it.

He told us all to blame him for the fires, now he and his staff don’t even remember them! and the coroner isn’t allowed to blame him anymore.

Maybe I’m just being cynical, but I am convinced that he changes the rules to suit himself and then thinks nobody else will notice.

I’d like to see him roasted as well. But lets wait and see as I have a terrible feeling the Comrade will weasel his way out of this.

Barring that, he’ll just appeal and waste more of our already in deficit budget.

Interesting isn’t it. My SES Unit has been told, by Hargreaves in person, that we will get a new, dedicated SES depot, and not have the shambles that we have now.

But the catch is, there is not enough money to do so.

How about giving up on using the money to stop the croner and put it where it should be!

that would be novel..

Triumph for democracy might be a bit strong.

Seperation of Powers maybe.

but let’s see what the courts say first.
