Rambo, Miffy and Maze are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Dog of the Week: Rambo
Sometimes we have dogs named Buttercup or Charlotte, and sometimes they have explosive names like Rambo! Our Rambo is pretty awesome but don’t let the name deceive you, he’s not really into solo rescue missions to save prisoners of war.
In some ways, though, our Rambo is not dissimilar to John Rambo. He’s a fiercely loyal friend for life, has endless levels of enthusiasm and energy, and has a black eye. Sadly, just like Rambo on the silver screen, our Rambo has nowhere to live.
Of course, he’s happy here, and our volunteers and staff enjoy Rambo’s fun and games, but we’d desperately love for this young Aussie Cattle Dog X (less than two years old) to find a forever home.
Our Rambo is good with other dogs and quite sociable with them. His ideal home would have active adults or teenagers who can give him the attention and playtime he deserves.

Rabbits of the Week: Miffy and Maze
We may have accidentally set the standards too high for two extremely friendly, social bunnies this week. Due to the extreme temperatures on Monday and Tuesday, we moved them into our air-conditioned shipping containers—five-star luxury!
Of course, they’d probably prefer their usual rabbit enclosures on a normal day because there’s more room to play. That’s the type of home they need: spacious with a reasonable outdoor area.
Maze and Miffy need a home.
These two are seriously friendly. They don’t love being handled, but they want to be where their owners are. It’s pretty cute to see them run up to you when you enter.
They are Havana rabbits, great company and the perfect addition to a family wanting to love and care for cute little pets!
Pawnotes: A reminder this week to vaccinate your pets, particularly your puppies. Canine parvovirus exists where pets exist and vaccinations are the only true way to keep your puppies safe. Please check with your vet to see if your pup is up to date.
