Double Shopping Trolley in Canberra? Where?

Piratepete, have you asked at any of the places you thought you’d seen them? Perhaps because of accessibility difficulties they have them kept somewhere seperate to the regular trolleys and you have to request it, I don’t know, just a thought. Or if they don’t have them any more (I’m sure they use to) they’ll know there’s a demand for them.

My older child could walk but I would prefer he didn’t if you know what I mean! and if he walks then my other child wants to too and then all hell breaks loose 🙂

Just a suggestion if a larger trolley can’t be found; if they are still small enough to carry on your back, make it a contest of good behaviour for who gets to ride in the trolley. (Or on your back, if that’s their favourite. Either one begging for lollies and it’s into the less favoured thing.) When I read about problems like this I am quite glad I only had to ‘deal with’ one. That’s hard enough!

In fact have only just had the pleasure of needing the ones with the toddler on the right and the baby on the left.

Tend to find the toddler more interested in either being carried, or walking and picking colorful things off the shelves and put them covertly in the trolley to surprise mummy and daddy when they get to the checkout anyway….
