The 1918 Flu Pandemic brought about the entire field of epidemiology and a new era of public health. World War 2 gave us new technologies like radar, computers, and rocketry. More recently, the 2008 Global Financial Crisis was when the unicorn companies WhatsApp, Instagram, and Uber were founded.
Global crises have, for much of human history, been the seedbed of new ideas, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Now is the time for new ideas to be openly encouraged and fostered – will you come up with the next idea that will change the world?
The Canberra Innovation Network is inviting all innovators, entrepreneurs, and ideas-people to a fun, collaborative, and interactive ideation session. Meet like-minded, enthusiastic people and work together to learn how to come up with new ideas and engage with what to do next.
Even if you already have an idea or project that you’re working on, this is an opportunity to look at something familiar through a new lens, train your creative muscle, and leave inspired and energised.
This is a free event but registrations are essential!
