A cinematic and futurist new contemporary dance work by Canberra’s award-winning Australian Dance Party, The Dataset explores the complex relationship between humanity and data.

Arrive into the dark industrial location of The Vault and enter into the data centre. Here we physicalise the data that shapes us, interrogating its power.

With the integration movement, light, sound, and data, we imagine a world where data systems wield significant influence and question the implications of system failure on individual autonomy.

What happens when the system rules us? What happens when the system is broken? ‘The Dataset’ highlights our adaptability as humans in the face of adversity.
