Mayor Rattenbury has the happy news that The Green Shed (formerly Tiny’s) has handed over $10,000 to The Yellow Van:

Minister for Territory and Municipal Services, Shane Rattenbury, will tomorrow present a cheque for $10,000 to The Yellow Van on behalf of The Green Shed (formerly known as Tiny’s Green Shed).

The $10,000 was raised by The Green Shed through its charity days which run on the last Wednesday of each month.

The Yellow Van is a service run by Communities at Work, who donate food to over 80 charities around Canberra to ensure the disadvantaged in the community are catered for.

This will be the fourteenth cheque that The Green Shed has donated to charities in the ACT region since 2010.
