What’s with the tributes to ‘Phil’? Are we all supposed to know who “Phil” is? Would these condolences be better placed on a condolences card to his family rather than an internet site which his family may never read. From the link to Mudd I gather “Phil” had some connection to a campaign against alcohol and if I’m wrong then why don’t Chanelhardy and Mudd enlighten us instead of posing with cheap tributes.

So he *wasn’t* pushed ?

My thought and prayers are with all the friends and family of Phil. He will be sadly missed. I’ll always remember the good times we shared, such a character and so full of life. I’m so sorry his time was cut short. Life is so unfair sometimes. You will always be in my heart Kollas. Much Love RIP xoxo

I have had at least 5 Balconies in different places over the years and i have never fallen from one. Should we now outlaw Balconies Mr Corbell, and if so, what do we do about OMG’s stockpiling them?

What is it about apartment balconies that makes people fall over them so frequently? Is this a job for the Minister for Housing? Some blindingly quick legislative fixit action to require that all apartment owners install safety cages would be good. Or perhaps bungy cords attached to the tv like seat belts in modern cars, so that a warning can be broadcast to the hapless occupamnt to remind him/her of the danger of going outside for a cone/drink/line or whatever…

A 25 year old man fell of the balcony this morning/last night and passed away.
It was on the radio this morning.

It’s not very high, short two storey, plus high railings, don’t know how they managed that.
