Hi there. I just wanted to publicly commend the young female lifeguard who was on duty yesterday morning at CISAC.
Yesterday the pool was full of groups of young school kids attending swimming lessons. Whilst taking a breather after having swum a few laps, I looked up to see the young life guard spring into action. She lept into the 50m pool and plucked a poor young lad from the bottom, lifting him to safety before taking him off for further assessment. How on earth she was able to spot him is beyond me, given how many people there were in the pool at that time and that no one else had seen him.
Yes – I know that she was doing her job, but what a bloody awesome effort nonetheless!
