UPDATED 4:10 pm, 15 October: Good news, Canberra. Hai Quach has been located safe and well.


ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 49-year-old man Hai Quach.

Hai was last seen in Garran at about 3.20 pm yesterday (13 October).

He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 178 cm (5’10”) tall, with collar-length black hair, brown eyes, and of medium build.

Hai was last seen wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt with a yellow logo on the top left of the chest and a large yellow logo on the back, dark-coloured tracksuit pants with stripes down the side, and no shoes.

Police and his family hold concerns for Hai’s welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.

Anyone who has seen Hai or who may have information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444. Quote reference number 6646959. Information can be provided anonymously.
