UPDATE (2:57 pm, 2 December): Hayley McNally, 15, was found safe this afternoon. ACT police have thanked Canberrans for their assistance.


Police are seeking assistance to find 15-year-old Hayley McNally, who has been missing since Saturday night. She was last seen at the Gungahlin Bus/Light Rail interchange at around 5:30 pm Saturday.

Hayley is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 182 cm (6’0”) tall, with a medium build, pale complexion, long dark brown hair and wearing glasses.

She was last seen wearing a black top, pink and black chequered skirt and black sneakers.

Police believe she was travelling into the City via the Light Rail.

Hayley’s family want to assure her that she is not in any trouble and that they are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone who has seen Hayley or who may have information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 and quote the reference number 6466900.
