Heading to Sinners after rolling the pizza boy? Stay classy Kaleen

By johnboy - 7 June 2013 5

A 20-year-old man from Kaleen was arrested by police in the early hours of this morning (Friday, June 7) following an aggravated robbery.

Around 11.00pm on Thursday (June 6) a take-away food delivery driver attended a delivery at a residence in Kaleen. A male holding a knife approached the driver, while he was inside his car, and demanded cash and the keys to the car. The driver complied.

Around 1.00am this morning police located the vehicle parked in the car park of a business on Grimwade Street in Mitchell. The 20-year-old male was located by police exiting the business a short time later and was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.

The 20-year-old man has been charged with one count of aggravated robbery and will face the ACT Magistrates Court later today.

Why?

Why not run the bastard over instead?

Heh, heh – “A business in Mitchell”. Funny business more like it.

Playing indoor soccer at Kaleen one night, the police came in and asked for one of my team mates. Some Kaleen drop kicks had attempted to steal his wheels. Someone had thankfully had either stopped then and called the cops or they left for some other reason in a hurry. They left behind a decent sized block of wood and a jack.

That was only a couple of weeks ago.

It’s uncanny how many crime-related stories one suburb can produce! Way to represent my neck of the woods, scumbags!
