It’s actually much easier to post stories here on the new site. But some of you seem to be having trouble.
So I’m writing this as a normal user to demonstrate the ease with which you can do this.
See under the logo where it says “Submit News”? Click it. I you aren’t logged in as a user you’ll need to log in. If you’re not registered then you’ll need to do that first.
That will bring you to the “Write Post” page. It gives you many options but what you need is to put in a title and type in your words. Paragraph breaks and line breaks take care of themselves and there are quicktags at the top to help with formatting.
Hit “Save and Continue Edit” if you want a look at what your finished work will look like.
Hit “Save” when you’re done. Leave anything else you’re uncertain of alone.
It won’t appear on the front page until an editor has time to pop along an have a look. If you choose to edit the post later on it will then have to wait for an editor before it gets put back on the front page.
