Joey's Kitchen: Review

Morning,

I had the pleasure of redeeming my RiotAct gift voucher at Joey’s Kitchen last night and wanted to pass on some praise for the fine meal they provided.

On what was a blissteringly cold evening it was nice to sit in a nice little restaurant and indulge in some fine food and wine.

The meal, from chorizo topped bruchetta to zuchinni flowers, open pumpkin ravioli and seared pork loin were absolutely delicious.

Accompanied by a great selection of wines it’s definitely a restaurant I would go back to.

Seems a small shame that they are tucked all the way out in Watson (coming from Tuggeranong it’s a long way) but made worthwhile when food like that is on offer.

I will be recommending it to friends and relatives.

[ED – RiotACT’s paid subscribers go in a monthly draw for Joey’s Kitchen vouchers and seem to be enjoying it immensely]

They are terriffic, been there twice, both times bloody marvellous. The seafood plate is stupendous value and is wonderfully matched with a Grand Cru Alsace Gewurtztraminer which you can bring for only a couple of bucks corkage per head

Watson?

Is this place what was once called Carlo’s of Watson, and which was loved by the RA community? (tongue in cheek)

Thanks for the review. I am looking forward to using my voucher at Joey’s in July. Thanks RiotACT. Will report back soon. The menu does look mouth watering.
