Cars bank up as accident disrupts Kings Highway traffic near Braidwood

A two-car crash on the Kings Highway near Braidwood this afternoon has left traffic banked up for six kilometres and initially closed the highway in both directions.

Emergency services are now on the scene of the crash which occurred near Braidwood at Foxs Elbow Road.

According to NSW Police, there have not been any fatalities from the incident.

No one is trapped in a vehicle.

Alternating stop and slow conditions are now in place and motorists are asked to allow extra time to complete their journeys.
