Kit containing drugs and first aid stolen from ACT Ambulance Service

Police wrapA kit containing first aid items and drugs was stolen from the ACT Ambulance Service early yesterday morning – raising fears about what could happen if the drugs are wrongly administered.

ACT Policing report that some of the drugs contained in the stolen kit could render a person unconscious or cause death if not administered correctly.

In the early house of yesterday morning (November 7), police responded to reports from the ACT Ambulance Service that one of their facilities had been broken into and a first aid/drug kit stolen.

Police have urged anyone with information about the theft or about the location of the kit to contact police on 131 444 or via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information from the public can be provided anonymously.
