Knife wielded in Holt home invasion

A person held the occupants of a Holt residence at knifepoint during a home invasion on Sunday night.

ACT Policing has reported that two people were held at knifepoint at a Holt residence on Sunday sight

At about 8:25 pm last night two people, one armed with a knife, forced entry to the home and made demands of the occupants, while a third person waited outside. The three people fled shortly afterwards emptyhanded, running along Powell Street and into Kellerman Close.

The first offender is described as about 193cm (6’4”) tall and of thin build, with a dark-coloured handkerchief covering his face. He was wearing jeans and a long-sleeved plain white shirt.

The second offender was wearing dark-coloured clothing.

Police do not have a description of the third person.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police, including dash-cam or CCTV footage that captured people in the area matching the descriptions, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
