Woman attacked, home graffitied, during alleged Gordon home invasion

A woman has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following an alleged home invasion in Gordon.

It’s believed the woman returned to her home at about 7:30 pm on Saturday (23 March) to find multiple people, possibly juveniles, spraying graffiti in several rooms and damaging items.

She confronted the group and was allegedly assaulted by at least one of the intruders.

The group then fled the scene.

Police suspect several items were stolen from the home, in addition to the assault and property damage.

ACT Policing officers are investigating and have urged the community to help them identify the people allegedly involved.
