A father of four is in shock after his car and wallet were stolen at knifepoint. The incident occurred in Manuka this morning.
At 5:30 AM on Sunday the 4th of June, the victim reverse parked in the Flinders Way car park in Manuka. Before exiting the vehicle, a man wearing a balaclava and wielding a large knife entered the passenger seat. The man allegedly threatened the driver with the knife, insisting that the driver take him to the Wentworth Avenue side of Telopea Park.
The victim complied, and the attacker then demanded the car keys, wallet and phone. The driver handed over the keys and wallet and exited the vehicle.
The alleged attacker is described as being short, dark and stocky. He was wearing a balaclava and socks on his hands during the incident.
The car has since been recovered.
