Light painting by the Lake

This in from Mossrocket:

Last night Dan DeWitte & Doug Hall from Walk With a Pro invited everyone along to take photos of light painting – using steel wool on fire spinning around for great effect.

There was a mix of Pro’s and Amateurs there, and we had a great evening (pretty cold though!)

Attached are some of the images I shot – and here’s a link to a video I filmed.

I’ve done similar but with a torch. Seen this before and considered attempting myself, obviously you would have to consider the weather (i.e. not in the middle of summer and high fire risk) but what sort of life do you get out of one burning pad? and as beardedclam said below is there risk of damage to property?

Pity about the sound track.

any damage to the timber boardwalk?
looks pretty.
