For those wondering how much of a used taxi Lauren Jackson’s high profile signing (under written by the prices of our water and power) might be there’s good news from the Capitals:
Lauren Jackson is now settled back home in Canberra and has undergone a thorough assessment by the Canberra Capitals medical staff.
The comprehensive screening, headed up by Canberra Capitals Doctor David Hughes, revealed Lauren has some ongoing nerve damage to her back which will require care and rehabilitation in the short term to enable her to return to the court for the Capitals.
The current prognosis is for Lauren to miss the next two rounds of the WNBL season with the aim of her returning for the bumper ABC television game at the AIS Arena against Sydney University on November 2nd.
