Man to face court on multiple charges after large police operation in Holt

A 26-year-old Theodore man was arrested by ACT Policing yesterday (7 January) for several offences he is alleged to have committed in both NSW and the ACT while on bail.

The man was arrested in Banks at around 2:25 pm. He was charged with multiple offences including riding in a stolen motor vehicle, attempted aggravated robbery, possessing an offensive weapon, property damage, common assault and breaching a family violence order.

The arrest follows a large police operation in Holt on Wednesday to locate the man who is now before the court.

A 20-year-old woman from Fisher was later arrested in Belconnen around 8:35 pm in connection with the stolen vehicle.

She has been charged with driving a stolen motor vehicle, unlicensed and aggravated dangerous driving as well as drug possession.
