Mirrormen in Canberra

Dear RiotACT,

Country rock and rollers Mirrormen are coming up from Melbourne to play at the Phoenix on Wednesday the 5th as part of a tour promoting their new EP “When the Gunshots Rang”. Joining them will be Canberra gutter-poet and smut-peddler Tom Woodward who will be launching his new single “Desire”. Mirrormen are a four-piece elcectic multi-instrumental band with a stage show kind of lake a lazy-susan. Made of members of Canberra bands The Henchmen, The Spirits of the Dead and The Last Dolmades, it’s a kind of home coming for mirrormen so come along and make them feel welcome and enjoy their unique blend of existential-country-folk-punk-barbershop-rock and roll.

Tom Woodward’s on at 9pm followed by Mirrormen at 10. It’s all for free. I hope to see there.
