Mobile phone recycling scheme

By Kerces - 2 February 2006 4

If you have begun the new year with a new mobile phone and you don’t need your old one, then Amnesty would like to have it.

Money can be raised for Amnesty by recycling mobile phones. $3 – $5 per phone.

Useable phones can be sent to developing countries and others can be recycled in an environmentally safe way.

So if you have any phones to give then please ring Rob Lundie on 6277 2661 (w) or 6288 4125 (h).

Please pass the word around your friends and work colleagues.

What’s Your opinion?

A scam is it? As opposed to a well-intentioned idea with a side-effect…?

perfect example of promoting a consumer society.

this scheme is a phone co scam designed to promote YOU spending more money on the latest and greatest.

until all networks go 3g, i’ll stay with the ‘brick’.

dont fall for this scam.
